Professor Santosh is an internationally recognised expert in paediatric psychopharmacology, focusing on treatment-resistant developmental multimorbidity and various neuropsychiatric problems, including acquired brain injury, childhood dementias, and rare diseases such as Rett syndrome, Septo-Optic Dysplasia, and Mucopolysaccharidoses. At the Centre for Interventional Paediatric Psychopharmacology Research Team (CIPPRT), she focuses on medication-related suicidality, developing Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PCOMs), particularly for rare diseases like Rett syndrome and Mucopolysaccharidoses.
