Biography

Parham Daneshvar is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery, with a particular interest in rheumatoid arthritis. He practices full time at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre and holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at Queen's University. Dr. Daneshvar completed his undergraduate degree in Sciences at the University of Waterloo in 2002 and went on to earn his medical degree. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Ottawa in 2007, followed by a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Roth/McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre in London, Ontario. After completing his fellowship, he worked for seven years as a staff hand and upper extremity surgeon at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia. Since 2013, Dr. Daneshvar has been engaging in teaching, actively training orthopaedic residents and fellows who specialize in hand and upper extremity surgery. He is also dedicated to humanitarian missions, focusing on providing high-quality orthopaedic care in developing countries.
