Biography

Associate Professor and founder director of the Data Systems Lab at the Royal Institute of Technology, Paris Carbone focuses on data-driven system design applications including serverless computing, distributed databases, artificial intelligence, data stream platforms, and graph query systems. His work has been recognized with high acclaim, receiving prestigious awards such as the ACM SIGMOD Systems Award 2023 and the Apache Flink's transformative power in data processing, along with multiple PhD Paper awards.
