Biography

Parshotam Dass teaches in the Faculty of Management at the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba. He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University and has taught at both Michigan State University and the University of Arkansas. He is a member of the U.S. Academy of Management and has presented and discussed papers at various conferences, organized symposia, and chaired sessions. He co-edited 'Readings in Strategic Management' (Pixel Press, 1993), and his writing has appeared in reputable journals including Academy of Management Executive, Human Relations, and the Journal of Business Research. He serves or has served on editorial boards for journals like the Journal of Management and Long Range Planning, and he has acted as an Academic Reviewer and Program Chair for various divisions in the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada. Dr. Dass has been recognized for his teaching excellence with University of Manitoba Teaching Merit Awards.
