Dr. Pascal Böni

Biography

Pascal Böni is a Professor of Practice in Finance and Private Debt at the Tilburg Institute for Private Debt (TiPD) and serves as the managing director. He is an Associate Professor of Finance at Tilburg University's business school, TIAS, where he teaches the Master Finance (MiF) program. His research interests encompass asset pricing, private markets, private debt, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Pascal earned his PhD in Finance from the Tilburg School of Economics and Management, Tilburg University, and obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester, New York, along with a Master in Business Law from the Graduate School of Business, Economics, and Law at the University of St. Gallen. In addition to his academic career, Pascal works as the CEO of Remaco Group, a Swiss broker-dealer and financial advisory firm that focuses on corporate finance and alternative assets, particularly private debt. He is a member of the board of directors of various companies and chairs the Swiss Association of Securities Firms (SASF), providing expert advice to government institutions in Switzerland. Throughout his career, he has been involved in board activities for both listed and unlisted national and international companies within the media, energy, and financial services sectors, advising on over 100 corporate finance and M&A transactions.
