Biography

Pascal Fua is a prominent figure in the field of computer vision and machine learning. He obtained his engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Paris in 1984 and earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Orsay in 1989. Besides his academic endeavors, he has participated in program committees for major conferences and co-founded spin-off companies. Fua has received several prestigious awards for his research, including the AIAA Award for Scientific Paper in 2024.
