Biography

Pascale Chapdelaine is an Associate Professor and Chair in the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.) from McGill University, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from K.U. Leuven in Belgium, and a Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. Since joining the Faculty of Law in 2014, she has leveraged her extensive 14-year legal practice experience in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law. Previously, Pascale served as Vice-President Legal Counsel for Canada’s largest telecommunications companies and as an Associate at a major law firm based in Montréal. She is a Co-Founder and Director of the Windsor Law LTEC Lab and actively organizes symposia, workshops, and research networks that engage scholars, legal practitioners, and policymakers to discuss pressing regulatory issues related to technological developments and access to justice. Additionally, she is a Research Affiliate at IP Osgoode and a member of the International Association for the Advancement of Teaching and Research in Intellectual Property (ATRIP). Pascale is called to the Bar in Ontario and le Barreau du Québec, and she is fluent in French and Dutch.
