Biography

Pascale Jablonka is a French/Swiss astrophysicist who specializes in the field of galaxy evolution. She earned her doctorate in astrophysics from the University Paris 7 - Denis Diderot, France. Following her education, she held a postdoctoral fellowship at the European Southern Observatory (ESO) in Germany, subsequently obtaining a position at CNRS in France. Currently, she serves as a Directrice de Recherche at CNRS and is on leave from the Paris Observatory’s Laboratory of Astrophysics to contribute to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) as an Adjunct Professor. Her research focuses on galaxy formation and evolution, numerical simulations, and the study of dwarf galaxies and their stellar populations in the context of cosmic web structures.
