Biography

Pascale Le Blanc is a Full Professor in Workplace Innovation at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and co-chair of the Human Performance Management Group. Her research and teaching focus on the sustainable functioning of organizations and employees, with a particular interest in the management of change and adaptation processes at the individual, team, and organizational levels. She emphasizes the importance of ensuring that new technologies are designed with human factors in mind, aiming to enable individuals to effectively and satisfactorily utilize these innovations in both their personal and professional lives. Her academic background includes an MSc in Psychology from Tilburg University and a PhD from Utrecht University, obtained in 1994 with a thesis on leadership in healthcare. Between 1995 and 2011, she worked at Utrecht University, holding positions as a Postdoc Researcher and later as an Assistant Professor. During this time, she initiated research on workplace interventions aimed at preventing stress and burnout while enhancing work engagement and performance. In 2015, she became an Affiliated Researcher at the Department of Psychology of Stockholm University and serves as an Associate Editor for the European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, while also being a member of the Editorial Board for the Scandinavian Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology.
