Biography

Pasquale Della Corte is a Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School, Imperial College London, and serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Financial Markets (JFM). Before joining Imperial College, he was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick. He has held visiting research positions at Washington University St. Louis, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Norges Bank, and the Hong Kong Institute of Monetary Research. His research concentrates on international finance, global asset allocation, empirical asset pricing, portfolio choice, market microstructure, and Bayesian econometrics, with publications in reputable journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and Journal of Empirical Finance. His work has received the INQUIRE UK Paper Awards in 2010 and 2011 and the KEPOS CAPITAL Award for paper on investments at the 2013 WFA meetings. He has taught International Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Warwick, and currently teaches several courses at Imperial College including International Finance and Empirical Finance for the PhD Programme in Finance. He has also received Teaching Excellence Awards from Warwick in 2009 and Imperial College London in 2013.
