Biography

Patrice Dutil is a Professor and the Coordinator of the Certificate in Public Administration Leadership Education at Toronto Metropolitan University. He has been with TMU since 2006 and has 19 years of experience in various roles within the public service and non-profit sectors. Dutil is a published author, co-author, and editor of fourteen books, with a significant number of scholarly articles in refereed publications. He frequently comments on public affairs through radio and television channels in Toronto and national media. Dutil is also a Senior Fellow at the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History at the University of Toronto and the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. He served as a visiting scholar at Massey College (University of Toronto) and as a visiting professor at both the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University and the Department of Political Science at Boston University. Dutil holds a PhD from York University, a Master of Arts from Université de Montréal, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University. His podcast series 'Witness' explores contemporary historical topics, with a French version titled 'Témoin d'hier'.
