Biography

Dr. Patricia Chow-Fraser is a Professor in the Department of Biology at McMaster University. She conducts extensive research and teaches in areas related to ecology, conservation, and the restoration of aquatic ecosystems, with a specific focus on the coastal zones of the Laurentian Great Lakes. Dr. Chow-Fraser's primary research goal is to develop simple tools to monitor the impacts of human activities on the long-term health of wetlands and streams within the Great Lakes region.
