Biography

Dr. Patricia Lima is an Assistant Professor (Adjunct) at Queen's University, specializing in Molecular Imaging and Cytometry at the Queen’s Cardiopulmonary Unit (QCPU). With notable publications and awards, her major research interests include understanding the immunological aspects of pulmonary hypertension and neutrophil phenotyping for risk stratification in sepsis. Beyond her academic pursuits, Dr. Lima is actively involved in community service as a volunteer firefighter and as a founder of the Women’s Science Queens, promoting diversity in the scientific community.
