Dr. Patricia Martinez Quinones

Biography

Patricia Angellice Martinez Quinones is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Duke University. She specializes in Traumatology, Surgical Critical Care, and Emergency Surgery. Currently, she is completing her fellowship in Traumatology at the University of Pennsylvania, having previously completed a residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Martinez Quinones obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University. Her research interests lie in the critical aspects of surgical care and trauma management, and she actively engages in studies aimed at improving patient outcomes in these fields. She is also involved in various research projects and has been awarded grants to support her work in this area.
