Biography

Patricia Patrick joined the Smeal College of Business at Penn State University in Fall 2014 as a Clinical Associate Professor of Accounting. Her teaching focuses on forensic accounting, auditing, and government accounting. Prior to this, she was a tenured Associate Professor of Accounting at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. Known for her dedication to teaching, she received the 'Faculty Mentor of the Year' award in spring 2014, recognizing her contributions to student success, particularly among student athletes. She employs innovative teaching methods, including group work and service learning projects, to make accounting concepts accessible and engaging for her students. Dr. Patrick's educational background includes a PhD in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Business Administration from the same institution.
