Biography

Patricia Perlman-Dee is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. She holds a Master's degree in Finance and International Management from the Stockholm School of Economics and has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE). Patricia is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and an ABNLP qualified Master Coach. With over 11 years of experience in the finance sector, she has worked for major corporations such as Citigroup, JP Morgan, Nomura, and Barclays in locations including Manchester, London, and New York. Her expertise spans a diverse range of financial products, including derivatives, structured funds, and OTC options. Patricia teaches various courses in undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focusing on Financial Decision Making and Applied Practical Investing, among others. She is a recognized presenter at educational conferences and has received accolades for her teaching, including the Faculty of Humanities AMBS Outstanding Teaching Award in 2019. As an originally Swedish national, she has lived in several countries and engages actively in philanthropy, contributing significantly to charitable organizations. Patricia’s work aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing education and financial inclusivity.
