Biography

Patricia Ybarra is the W. Duncan MacMillan Family Professor in the Humanities and Interim Chair of Theatre Arts and Performance Studies at Brown University. She has authored significant scholarly works including "Performing Conquest: Five Centuries of Theatre, History, and Identity in Tlaxcala, Mexico" (University of Michigan Press, 2009) and "Latinx Theatre and Neoliberalism" (Northwestern University Press, 2018).
