Biography

Patrick Bayer is the Gilhuly Family Distinguished Professor of Economics at Duke University, where he has been a faculty member since 2009. His research traverses a wide variety of subjects primarily focused on racial inequality, segregation, social interactions, housing markets, education, and criminal justice.
