Dr. Patrick Cudahy

Biography

Patrick Cudahy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Infectious Diseases. His research interests focus on HIV and tuberculosis co-infection, particularly in improving treatment outcomes for patients in South Africa. He investigates biomarkers of treatment response and analyzes within-host strain diversity of tuberculosis. Cudahy is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He holds a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and has completed his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. His extensive training includes a fellowship at Yale University and an internship and residency at Stanford University.
