Patrick W. C. Ho completed his Bachelor of Engineering with first class honours in 2009 and later acquired a Master of Science in 2012, where he developed a prototype voice-automated elevator system. He pursued his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, completing his dissertation on 'Non-volatile FPGA architecture using resistive switching devices' in 2017. Prior to his advanced studies, he accumulated over two years of industrial experience as a Graduate Trainee at Intel Microelectronics and as a Design Engineer at Altera Corporation. Currently, he serves as a Lecturer at Monash University in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering. His teaching responsibilities include coordinating units such as Electrical Circuits and Large Scale Digital Design. Along with his teaching role, he is an advisor for industrial training and was a representative on the ECSE Industry Advisory Panel. His research interests center on modeling and simulation of non-volatile memories, especially memristors, and their applications within FPGA VLSI. He has published numerous articles in reputable journals and collaborates with industry partners on projects involving semiconductor technology, computer vision, and artificial intelligence.
