Biography

Patrick Kastner is an Adjunct Assistant Professor specializing in environmental performance simulation and decarbonization of buildings and cities. He serves as the Director of the Sustainable Urban Systems Lab at the School of Architecture of the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has previously worked as a postdoctoral associate with the Environmental Systems Lab at Cornell AAP, contributing to the Ithaca Green New Deal to accelerate efforts in decarbonizing the city's building stock. Prior academic positions include teaching roles at Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania.
