Patrick McCurdy (PhD, LSE) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the University of Ottawa, Canada. His prior research includes a multi-year SSHRC Insight Grant examining the legacy of the 'Tar Sands' and analyzing the impact of a long-forgotten CBC docudrama about negotiations for the Syncrude agreement.
