Patrick McNeil serves as Macquarie University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Medicine and Health, providing leadership over the clinical academic components of MQ Health – Macquarie University Health Sciences Centre. He previously served as Associate Dean for Education at UNSW Medicine and transformed their medical curriculum into an innovative, outcomes-based program. McNeil held the chair of Rheumatology at Liverpool Hospital from 2005 to 2012 before becoming the Executive Clinical Director. He also chaired Arthritis Australia from 2010 to 2014, advocating for the improvement of lives for Australians living with arthritis.
