Biography

Professor Patrick Molinari's career at the Faculty of Law spans nearly 35 years. A specialist in health law, he is the author of influential works frequently cited by courts. Recognized with numerous awards and academic titles for his research work, Molinari is also noted as an administrator within the university apparatus, a rigorous educator, and an author of essential university courses, as well as an engaged citizen. Joining the Université de Montréal in 1976, he designed most of the health law courses offered today by the Faculty of Law. From 1985 to 1989, he led the Center for Public Law Research at the Faculty, and served as Dean of the Faculty from 1992 to 1995, and as Vice-Rector for Administration from 1995 to 1998.
