Biography

Patti Cross was the Senior Family Counsel at the Office of the Chief Justice, Ontario Court of Justice for over 17 years. Previously, she served as Family Counsel at the Superior Court of Justice. While at the Ontario Court of Justice, Patti developed the Integrated Domestic Violence Court, the first of its kind in Canada, and established the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Ontario chapter, serving as the inaugural President. She is also recognized for founding the first family law moot in Canada. Currently leading the Lincoln Alexander School of Law's placement program at the Chief Justice’s office at the Ontario Court of Justice, Patti actively supervises Lincoln Alexander Law students. She is enthusiastic about her role as an instructor and her commitment to supporting students in their legal careers.
