Biography

Patti Wolf is an accomplished collaborative pianist and Assistant Professor of Practice at the Butler School of Music, University of Texas at Austin. She began her musical journey at a young age and became the youngest competitor in the 1985 Van Cliburn Competition. Throughout her career, she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician, collaborating with distinguished artists including cellist Lynn Harrell and pianist Jon Kimura Parker. Ms. Wolf's extensive experience includes serving on the faculties of Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and Washington University, and she has given master classes at renowned institutions like the University of Michigan and the Juilliard School of Music. Since joining UT Austin in 2017, she has been dedicated to teaching courses such as Accompanying, Instrumental Accompanying, and Collaborative Piano. Wolf maintains an active performance schedule, frequently appearing with various symphonies and chamber music groups across the country.
