Dr. Patty Pinanong

Biography

Patty Pinanong, MD, is a board-certified Clinical Associate Professor in Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed her residency training at Harbor UCLA, where she also served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Pinanong has a committed clinical interest in serving medically vulnerable communities and has been the lead physician for the USC Student Health Gender Affirming Care Team since 2013. With a robust focus on trauma-informed care, she believes in the importance of allyship and cultural humility in her practice. Dr. Pinanong finds joy in her role as a physician advocate, helping patients express their authentic selves and striving to provide high-quality care.
