Biography

Prof. Paul Abbott AO is an Emeritus Professor of Dentistry at the University of Western Australia, specializing in Endodontics. Before holding a full-time position at UWA in 2002, he practiced as a private specialist in Perth and Melbourne for 17 years, while holding part-time academic roles at UWA and the University of Melbourne. He served as Dean and Head of the UWA School of Dentistry and directed the Oral Health Centre of WA from 2003-2009. His contributions to the field have been recognized with prestigious awards such as the Officer of the Order of Australia and numerous international accolades for his research and professional service in endodontics and dental traumatology.
