Biography

Professor Paul Adler is the Harold Quinton Chair in Business Policy, specializing in Management, Organization, Sociology, and Environmental Studies at the University of Southern California. His academic journey began in Australia, followed by graduate studies in France. He joined USC in 1991, having previously worked with notable institutions such as the Brookings Institution, Barnard College, Harvard Business School, and Stanford's School of Engineering. He has held leadership positions within the Academy of Management, including serving as President from 2013 to 2014. Professor Adler has published extensively in academic journals and edited several influential books including 'Firm Collaborative Community: Reconstructing Trust in the Knowledge Economy' (2006) and the 'Oxford Handbook of Sociology and Organization Studies: Contemporary Currents' (2014). He also co-authored 'Healing Together: Labor-Management Partnership at Kaiser Permanente' (2009).
