Dr. Paul Andre

Biography

Professor Paul Andre holds a PhD from the University of Waterloo, Canada, and specializes in financial reporting, earnings quality, corporate governance, ownership structures, auditing, and mergers and acquisitions. He has taught courses on Financial Reporting, Financial Statement Analysis, and Business Valuation at the MSc, MBA, and Executive Education levels. Paul has published articles in various esteemed journals including Contemporary Accounting Research, European Accounting Review, and Accounting and Business Research. He serves as the co-editor-in-chief of Comptabilité Contrôle Audit and is on the editorial boards of several other notable journals. In addition to his academic roles, Paul has significant industry experience as a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and has worked with major auditing firms. He has also held leadership positions, such as vice-dean of teaching and student affairs at HEC Lausanne and vice-dean of research at ESSEC Business School. His extensive experience and contributions to the field make him a recognized expert in financial and non-financial corporate reporting.
