Biography

Paul J. Batista, J.D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health and Kinesiology at Texas A&M University. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Baylor University Law School in 1976 and his B.S. in Business Administration from Trinity University in 1973. Batista is a certified athlete agent and has practiced law since 1976, primarily in Caldwell, Texas. He is also involved in study abroad programs in Germany and Austria, guiding students through the sport business landscape in Europe. Additionally, Batista has held various leadership positions in professional organizations related to sport law.
