Biography

Paul Cavill is a Senior Lecturer in Early Modern British History at the Faculty of History, University of Cambridge, and serves as the Director of Postgraduate Studies. He became a part of the University in 2013, following previous lectureships at Bangor University and the University of Leeds. Cavill also convenes the Early Modern British and Irish History research seminar series and contributes to the field through editorial roles and supervision of Master's and doctoral research on English constitutional and political history.
