Biography

Paul Cohen earned his MD from Columbia University in 1981. He completed his residency in anatomic pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital and underwent a fellowship at the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Cohen is board certified in anatomic pathology. He chairs the Pathology department at Bridgeport Hospital and serves as an Associate Professor of Pathology at the Yale School of Medicine. He is also the director of the Yale Pathology residency program at Bridgeport Hospital. Dr. Cohen’s research interests encompass various aspects of medical research, including Allergy Immunology, Surgical Pathology, Quality Health Care, and Respiratory Tract Diseases. His extensive training includes experiences at the National Cancer Institute and a post-doctoral research associate position at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Johns Hopkins University. He has contributed to several publications in the medical field and collaborates frequently with peers in the pathology domain.
