Biography

Dr. Dancey is an Associate Professor and Chair in Pediatrics at Memorial University. He is a Pediatric Rheumatologist with an M.D. and FRCPC in Pediatrics. He has a research focus on pediatric surveillance of rare diseases, particularly Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Kawasaki Disease, and Autoinflammatory Disease. His work is supported by the Janeway Pediatric Research Unit, which provides funding and administrative support for clinical studies. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, running, windsurfing, kayaking, and amateur photography.
