Biography

Dr. Paul Ho currently serves as a Professor at the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours and Ph.D. from the University of Queensland. Following his graduation, he undertook postdoctoral studies at the Upjohn Center for Clinical Pharmacology, University of Michigan, and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research. Dr. Ho has also worked with the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health in Baltimore. In 2011, he was awarded the Outstanding Medical Graduate Drug Technology Mentor Award by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists in Washington, D.C., and he received the Outstanding Scientist Award from the Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore. Additionally, Dr. Ho is an honorary professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University and leads the Centre for Additive Manufacturing at NUS, which focuses on 3D printing applications in pharmaceuticals. His current research interests include pharmacokinetics, biopharmaceutics, and central nervous system diseases, particularly drug-resistant epilepsy and Alzheimer’s disease. He is also involved in research related to UN Sustainable Development Goals, aiming to contribute to global efforts in poverty reduction and sustainability.
