Biography

Paul Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Université Laval. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal, which he completed in 2007. He also earned his M.Sc.A. and B.Ing. degrees in Computer Engineering from the same institution in 2004 and 2002, respectively. Following his Ph.D., he undertook postdoctoral training at the Iyengar Lab and Systems Biology Center at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine from 2007 to 2011. His research is focused on advancing the field of chemistry through the application of computational methods. He is actively involved in mentoring graduate students and contributing to various academic initiatives pertaining to chemical engineering and interdisciplinary studies.
