Biography

Paul Kellam is a Professor of Virus Genomics at Imperial College London and the Chief Scientific Officer at RQ Biotechnology Ltd. He has published over 250 primary research papers, reviews, and book chapters. His scientific career spans both the pharmaceutical industry and academia, having worked with organizations including Wellcome Foundation Ltd, Kymab Ltd, the Institute of Cancer Research, University College London, and the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Professor Kellam has played a prominent role in vaccine research and public health initiatives, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he served as a Scientific Advisor for the Vaccine Taskforce.
