Biography

Paul Laforge is an Associate Professor and Associate Dean Academic in the field of Electronic Systems Engineering at the University of Regina. He has a robust academic background with a Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Regina. Additionally, Dr. Laforge focuses on the design and analysis of tunable microwave filters, adaptive microwave devices, and robust antenna designs. His studies also explore monitoring municipal infrastructure and facilitating broadband non-line-of-sight communications, as well as electrical heating increased oil recovery. He has published numerous papers addressing dielectric characterization and using reflected group delay methods for various applications in engineering.
