Biography

Paul Levy is a Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania's Stuart Weitzman School of Design, specializing in city planning and downtown development. He has extensive teaching experience at various institutions, including Temple University and Columbia University. His notable contributions include directing graduate planning studios focused on Philadelphia, and he is the founding President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center City District (CCD) in Philadelphia. In addition to his leadership at CCD, he also serves as the executive director of the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation (CPDC). He earned both his MA and PhD in History from Columbia University and holds an undergraduate degree in History from Lafayette College. Paul is actively involved in civic organizations and resides in Center City Philadelphia with his family.
