Biography

Paul Mitchell joined the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2000 and has previously taught at Queen's University Belfast and University College Galway. He was a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in the Department of Government at Harvard University from 2000 to 2001. His educational responsibilities include undergraduate courses at Manchester University, master's programs at LSE, and PhD supervision at the European University Institute. He also contributes to the University of Michigan’s ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods. His research focuses on party competition, coalition governments, electoral systems, and Irish politics.
