Biography

Paul Oosterhuis has over thirty years of experience practicing international tax law at Skadden. His career encompasses extensive work on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spinoffs, and joint ventures. He has represented clients in internal restructurings and non-transactional planning matters, as well as resolving transfer pricing and complex international tax controversies. In recent years, he has been actively involved in international tax policy discussions, writing, and speaking to audiences about U.S. international tax reform implementation and OECD base erosion and digitalization tax projects. Paul began his legal career as a Legislation Attorney and Counsel for the Joint Committee on Taxation in the U.S. Congress.
