Biography

J. Paul Robinson is a Distinguished Professor of Cytometry at Purdue University, where he is known for his pioneering contributions to the fields of cytomics, spectral flow cytometry, and high-throughput cellular analysis. He completed his PhD in Immunopathology from the University of New South Wales and has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications, in addition to editing eleven academic books. Robinson has delivered more than 200 international presentations and directs the Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories. His accolades include being a Fellow of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and the Royal Microscopical Society, among others. He has served as President of the International Society for the Advancement of Cytometry and has a distinguished career that combines academic innovation with corporate consulting and legal expertise as an expert witness in patent litigation. Robinson is also the founder of the 'Cytometry Life' foundation, which supports science education in Africa. An accomplished mountaineer, he summited Mt. Everest on May 23, 2009.
