Biography

Paul Salvador is a Professor and Director of Energy Science, Technology, and Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in the College of Engineering. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University in 1997. His research focuses on materials heterostructures, advanced energy technologies, data storage, communications technologies, and the development of new materials using thin film methods.
