Biography

Paul Shrivastava is a Professor at the Smeal College of Business, Pennsylvania State University, specializing in Management and Organizations. He served as Penn State's Chief Sustainability Officer and as the Director of the Sustainability Institute. His previous roles include Executive Director of Future Earth where he established a secretariat for global environmental change programs. He is also a Co-President of Club Rome, a global sustainability think tank. Shrivastava founded the UNESCO Chair in Arts and Science, which implements Sustainable Development Goals at ICN Business School in Nancy, France. He is an advisor to the Network for Education Research in Peace and Sustainability (NERPS) at Hiroshima University, Japan, and the Future Potentials Observatory at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. His expertise lies in implementing Sustainable Development Goals and conducting transdisciplinary sustainability research.
