Biography

Paul Turner is a lecturer at the University of Geneva's Section of Mathematics. He holds a doctoral degree from the University of Manchester and has been a Paul Alexander von Humboldt research fellow at the University of Heidelberg. Additionally, he has served as a research associate at the Max-Planck-Institut Bonn. Over the years, Turner has engaged with several academic institutions including Aberdeen University, Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, the University of Fribourg, and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. His research interests focus on cohomology sheaves, small categories, Khovanov homology, homotopy quantum field theories, gerbes, and infinite loop spaces.
