Biography

Paula E. Williams, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Chicago. Her scholarly interests include fetal echocardiography and general cardiology, where she focuses on providing prenatal counseling and planning care for infants during delivery. Dr. Williams has a strong background in pediatric cardiology, having completed her fellowship at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville, TN, in 2012, and she also has experience from Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, where she practiced Pediatrics from 2009. She earned her MD from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine in 2006. Additionally, she holds a Master's degree in Toxicology from the University of North Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona.
