Paulo Regis joined Southampton Business School in September 2019 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Banking and Finance, where he lectures in subject areas including Quantitative Finance and Quantitative Methods for PhD students. He is the Director of Studies for the MSc in International Banking and Financial Studies and was recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK in 2015. He is actively involved in projects examining the availability of credit and its impact on sustainable growth, as well as the effects of financial regulations on the banking sector. In addition, he explores the role of infrastructure investment and local innovation in economic development.
