Dr. Pavel Ovseiko

Biography

Pavel Ovseiko is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, specializing in Health Policy Management. His research focuses on gender equity and diversity within academic health centers, as well as the impact assessment of health research. He leads a multi-disciplinary research program advocating for gender equality and has collaborated with over 257 co-authors across 45 countries. His work includes systematic reviews and developing metrics to assess gender equity, creating a supportive university culture, and contributing to international guidelines on research impact assessment. Ovseiko has previously completed a DPhil in Social Policy, focusing on health care reform politics in Central and Eastern Europe, and he holds degrees from the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences and the University of Malta. He is an associate editor for Health Research Policy and Systems and has contributed significantly to various research initiatives aimed at improving health services research quality and impact.
