Biography

Pavithra Manoj is a Research Officer for the LIFELONG project at LSE Health, where she focuses on understanding the effects of social intervention during early life on biological ageing. She previously studied at Imperial College London, earning her MSc in Statistics with a concentration in Biostatistics. During her master's program, she completed a research project that led to her thesis on 'Causal Inference Using Meta-Analysis Combining Observational (n-RCTs) and Randomised Studies (RCTs)', which adeptly combined multiple study types to assess the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines across different endpoints. Before pursuing her academic career, Pavithra gained experience in the insurance industry, where she utilized machine learning techniques to analyze mortality data and consumer behavior. She holds a BSc in Statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India.
