Biography

Peggy Coady started at Memorial University in 1997. As a chartered accountant, she previously worked at Deloitte LLP from 1990 to 1997. She completed her Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Co-operative) degree and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Memorial University, where she was awarded the university medal for academic excellence. Peggy also holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from South East Technological University in Waterford, Ireland. Over the last 20 years, she has coached Memorial’s student case teams for competitions such as the John Molson MBA International Case Competition and the Network of International Business Schools (NIBS) Undergraduate Case Competition. Peggy is actively involved in the CPA profession and was awarded Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2006. She served on the board of the Atlantic School of Chartered Accountancy from 2009 to 2014 and as a board evaluator for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants from 2002 to 2008. Currently, she is the Chair of the Finance & Audit Committee for the St. John's International Airport Authority.
